I nearly never review anything. But this one just bring into sharp relief how much above the rest of the pack Zone-Sama (and her team? Just one person? Can never tell with the joke credits.) is--not just in the "adult" section, but arguably in general--as an animator, parodist, audio editor and music supervisor.
Not only is it Zone's typical spot-on "where does the original footage end and Zone's animation begin" work, but then forget your ffin' fapping for a bit and go and watch the original pilot as suggested. Then ask yourself where the rest of the that dialogue came from. Some of it's clearly repurposed from the pilot, but there's way more here that wasn't in the pilot. The voiceover appropriation here is nearly seamless. The Teen Titans/Teenage Robot stuff by comparison, well, there's whole seasons of that. Watch enough episodes and you can find plenty of isolated recontextualizable grunts and unintentional innuendos. But this is an abandoned pilot. One 12 min. standalone episode. It sounds like Z went a step further, and perhaps sourced performances in other shows by the same/soundalike voice artists...? I don't know, but it's an impressive result.
Then if you're interested in an animation easter egg, go watch Reccardi's work from the 90's on Ren & Stimpy. Did you recognize some of the expressions Zone puts on the faces of the characters? There's direct homage to Spumco/R&S.
Then if you're a stickler for sound editing and design, just listen to it. Listen to how appropriate the music is in amongst the grunts and splats, without awkward sounding cuts. Zone sourced out music that was scene appropriate and (especially in that 60's mod go go montage) just as cool as what Reccardi made for the original. Listen to the original. Hear how little could be recycled? With the exception of the end titles, the dialogue mostly steps on the music, and the music obscures lots of the dialogue. The space in Z's parody had to be filled with something that didn't take you out of the moment. It all had to blend, and it did. Sound mixing, design and editing can be invisible and thankless--often, you've only done it right when nobody notices what you did.
Long review shorter, this is where the parody production bar is. If you want to claim you're among the best submitting, you gotta at least get close to Zone's fluidity of animation, eye + ear for recontextualization, and attention to detail. But even if you're just here for the fap (thank puberty and the internet indeed) with Zone, literally and figuratively, you're in good hands.

That was one of the weirdest faps I have ever done. And yet one of the most enjoyable.

I am a mix of disturbed, amused and aroused... and perhaps a little ashamed at all three.

Because of Zone's work, I no longer have feeling in my right hand or my pelvic region. If I could give more stars, I would. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to clean the walls of my room...twice...
