Oh My Bear - A simple bug splatting game for young children. I mainly made this for my niece but thought i put here and maybe it will bring somebody some happiness
This should be in the nintendo section if they have one,
a fun time burner for me im just 10 not 25 :P
I have to say, when I started I thought this was going to be a waste of time, seeing as that I am 27 years old. This game, however, quickly reminded me that I am a 27 year old child, as it did not take me long to get stuck in that bug squishing mood. The game is very well programmed, though the artwork could use a few fine touches. I know, it's a kid's game, and I am not saying the artwork is bad, it is far better than anything I could do, but I think that smoothing out some of the graphics would go a long way in helping to keep the player playing (this does not apply to the background, which looks great). Also, the last con I wish to point out is the lack of animation. The mechanics are simple and beautifully programmed, but I think another aesthetic that would do a great deal to strengthen the game would be to animate the legs of the bugs so it looks like the are walk and not magically, though gracefully, gliding through the air.
All and all, interesting game that I think would go over well with the target audience.
Thanks for the constructive comment.
it says its targeted for kids and i think it made it but its not as enjoyable for any other age out of elementary
it ok, i think it would be be better if u changed the enemies they are the thing thats lacking, make them look like bees and u should be set
