Revive is a pixelated puzzle platformer in which you defy death, define life, and jump in puddles of syrup.

It is also a spiritual successor (in more ways than one) to a game of mine called Respawn.

Man, this project started small and snowballed into something more complex and personal over time. Four months of care were put into Revive's design, so without giving too much away, I hope you enjoy the ride.

Also, let me know if you find any glitches anywhere, and I will address them when I can!

[List of Fixes]
The Time Trial Run medal point value has been increased, slight changes have been made to the controls (such as pressing UP to jump), the collision detection on forks has been improved, and a couple of problems with the main menu are now gone.

I've heard the controls stick for some people. Not sure what would cause this, so if anyone can provide more details about this (like when it happens, what browser you're using, etc.), let me know.

A video walkthrough is now available: hMHp-E

moral of the story kids: eat your fruits and veggies, or at least your fruits.

Good game. Well made challenges. bummed I wasn't able to figure out how to get some of the grapefruit, but that's on me for impatience.
keep up the good work sir.

this game is made by a quitter who disapoints his fans
don't expect a squel anyone as hes going to drop it instantly like he did riddle school

JonBro responds:

Hoorayyy, I was waiting for a useless review by a troll to come along.

If I had any intention of disappointing my fans, I really don't think I have spent four months working on a sizable game and had it beta-tested by eleven people after it was completed.

Is there a reason for GOV being GOV? Like hinting to the governments? Or just a coincidence?

JonBro responds:

Hm... kinda both. GOV was planned at one point to be based more closely around the government, but the storyline changed several times while I was working on the game.

Amazing game. Very fun and addicting. The later levels are challenging but possible.
