UPDATED! New features include:
-You can optionally make the Ninja Fridges gray instead of white, but you can't get the "MFNF" medal with this option set.
-You can disable explosions from jumping, but there will be a slight delay after each jump where you cannot jump.
-You can now sync your medals to Newgrounds in the options menu. I think.
-Jumps, LiftPoles, the Outhouse, and Slalom Gates should no longer explode when you hit them at any time. Theoretically.
-Hopefully fixed a few menu glitches.
-Perhaps an Easter Egg and other small changes.

I'm not sure when you'll be able to see this update, and you may need to clear your cache (is that how the internet works?), but I think it will greatly improve your free-skiing experience!

Also, a BIG THANK YOU to every who has left kind words about my game! It means a lot to me when people leave feedback (even the negative feedback), so thank you for taking the time to do so!

EDIT: Thank you so much for the front page, Newgrounds! When developers are given chances like this, it reminds me of why Newgrounds is the best site ever! Never change, and thanks again!

HOW TO PLAY:
Option 1: Use the Mouse to aim your guy and Click to jump
Option 2: Left and Right to turn, Up to stop, Down to go full speed, and Space to jump.
Other keys do other things...

COMMENTS:
This game. This ******* game. This has been a game I've been working on for almost two years now. I was making this before Feed the Children, but I wanted to release it in the winter and could never finish it before it was over.

Well now it's here, so enjoy.

And also, my apologies.

A really fun game. You have to give it some time though, don't decide it's crap after playing for 10 secs. There are more options and more humor in it then you'd expect.

I normally don't break games like these (well created games) unless for a good reason, but this is just like a remake of an old pc games during the 1990's (Dos games etc.) with a little more added features.

What the hell does that mean?

My quote meant there is an old pc game exactly like this with aimless sking that led to being killed by a yeti. It's wonderful you brought and old game back... in till i blew up from jumping? (Confused for blowing your self up.) That's just a design already to give frustration- Non-needed might I ask.

This game has a hell of a grand potential for fun with friends if you wish to do a competition, but I suggestion you re-adjust that blowing up confusion. Maybe put a bomb on the game that straps to you if you end up running in too it, creating that probability to happen instead of JUST happening out of random jumps. It would make this game so much more lively and beautiful.

Other then that, I have to give this a 0. Though Chin up, your on a wonderful progression.

DBuck-Eye responds:

There's an old game like this? I had no idea. What was it called? Free Skiing? Ski game? Something silly, like, SkiFree? I should research this.

Why die all the time and start again? Also the control over the player seems much slower than the original game.

DBuck-Eye responds:

Why do anything in any game? Also, I went with smoother motion that was more like actual skiing, and I guess that did make t skier control a little less responsively.

What the heck man! EVERYTHING blows you up! Should be called ski and explode. "You confused jumping with blowing yourself up" really!?
Ha, ya its pretty funny, good job. You should put a death checklist in the game so we can see what we still need to do, or already have done to figure what what else we could do. any hint on what the laaast secret medal is?

DBuck-Eye responds:

A checklist might be nice. If you want a hint, remember all of the keys you could press in Ski Free that did stuff, if you know what I'm sayin' :)
As for the last secret medal, it's for running over the hypnotoad, better known as a complete crap shoot.

Well-designed, smooth mouse controls (haven't tried keyboard), lots of different modes and achievements for replayability, rather creative, all-around well-made game.

I enjoyed trying random buttons to see what they did. I actually cracked up for a few of them.

I loved the addition of ninja fridges and how you can only see them through (don't want to spoil)

DBuck-Eye responds:

Thanks for the kind words! I think you get exactly what I was going for!
