UPDATED! New features include:
-You can optionally make the Ninja Fridges gray instead of white, but you can't get the "MFNF" medal with this option set.
-You can disable explosions from jumping, but there will be a slight delay after each jump where you cannot jump.
-You can now sync your medals to Newgrounds in the options menu. I think.
-Jumps, LiftPoles, the Outhouse, and Slalom Gates should no longer explode when you hit them at any time. Theoretically.
-Hopefully fixed a few menu glitches.
-Perhaps an Easter Egg and other small changes.
I'm not sure when you'll be able to see this update, and you may need to clear your cache (is that how the internet works?), but I think it will greatly improve your free-skiing experience!
Also, a BIG THANK YOU to every who has left kind words about my game! It means a lot to me when people leave feedback (even the negative feedback), so thank you for taking the time to do so!

HOW TO PLAY:
Option 1: Use the Mouse to aim your guy and Click to jump
Option 2: Left and Right to turn, Up to stop, Down to go full speed, and Space to jump.
Other keys do other things...

This game. This ******* game. This has been a game I've been working on for almost two years now. I was making this before Feed the Children, but I wanted to release it in the winter and could never finish it before it was over.
Well now it's here, so enjoy.

wow. this happens to be the most addictive game I've ever played yet, It's about Skiing and Freedom.. This makes logical sense although the music does get annoying though! Great Work btw, and keep it up Your Games are really fun to play! I really like the way you design the pixel sprites and all! Excellent job 8/10!
Thanks man! And you can always mute the music, either with the menu, or by pressing '0' (the number). :)

I am so happy you made this. It's like my childhood, plus... Hypnotoad? And ninja fridges. Fukken yes.
I guess I could agree with some of the other reviewers, though--The random death thing, although funny, can be a bit annoying. Maybe win an option to turn it off, past 10,000m? I dunno.

I like the tribute to SkiFree, but I really don't understand why I would randomly blow up when trying to jump (unless you're trying to make us less reliant on jumping and actually develop some skill at dodging). Also, using the psychedelic vision to dodge fridges (or just having it start randomly) might not sit well with people who are prone to seizures. Perhaps the fridges should show up as an off-white color: something that blends in with the snow WITHOUT being completely invisible.
The reason for the jump explosions is exactly what you pointed out, actually. As for the fridge thing, that's not a bad idea...

Look, it's SkiFree that I can play any time I want, but there's a psychedelic mode and a bunch of other crap. The controls are responsive and identical to the way it used to be, and the humor has been updated a little. That's just a 5/5 to me, easy.

It is funny at the beggining but when you're really trying to get score or a longrun the random deaths just ruin the game.
