I've been working on the is game full time for almost 2 years. The game has been sitelocked and Newgrounds will have exclusivity for the next few months.

The game is finished. The point of this upload is to get feedback from the community. I want to know why my game sucks. So troll the hell out of me.

UPDATE

Minor changes and the game is now 800*600. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Also fixed a few bugs that where ruining the game.

The combine armies doesn't work right. You can only combine armies with the armies the game wants you to apparently.
Cavalry doesn't seem able to attack from a distance it can move (charge). crossbow men can't click on an enemy unit more than 1 square away to attack (shoot things)
Good start but poorly implemented.

Great Work!!

Bug Rpt:
There appears to be a bug in the battle AI... it froze while trying to move a single light cavalry against 2 of my footmen. Reloading page and loading a save did not fix, as flash runtime somehow kept data and entered a weird bug mode

AI needs:
- Need to be able to access the start of turn resumé at will
- Need a quick rundown of what each province brings in / is building
- I believe flash can resize it's screen real-estates. Going bigger or full screen would greatly enhance map reading in turn & battle mode.
- Need a help file with building dependency tree and unit building pre-requisite

Extra wish:
If you had an option to make the mouse-hover events occur on single click, and single click events on double click, your game would be perfectly tablet-friendly. That or putting in "undo" options everywhere where an attempt to hover for an info panel might be read as a single-click.

I'll keep an eye on your progress, for sure!!

Thanks for the advice. This is what I'm looking for. Trying to make the best game I can.

I may or may not plug these features in. Its hard to say at this point. But thanks for the advice.

Game doesn't load in IE9, is there something being done to fix this?

LordGarland responds:

Might have to do with your flash player. You likely need the latest version for it to run.

nice game, but the first battle after the tutorial just hung.. I moved my one army and ended turn and the opponent didn't move, spell book didn't open and so on.
I'm using firefox 17 with flash 11.2 r202
Everything was ok until the cpu got to play its turn on the battle
