Update: You should now be awarded any medals you're missing on the main menu provided your best scores are good enough. You may need to clear your cache if you played a previous version.
The Snake Game is a game in which you must dash your mouse around the screen and avoid the oncoming snake-storm for as long as possible.
The game features 4 default modes and 1 locked mode:
EASY: Snakes are at their slowest and spawn very infrequently.
NORMAL: The original mode, more snakes spawn in less time.
HARD: Snakes are faster and spawn very often.
S. HARD: (Super Hard) An immediate barrage of snakes sends you in to a panicked frenzy, good luck lasting for more than 10 seconds. (Accumulate a total best time of 180 seconds between Easy, Normal and Hard modes to unlock this)
GREEN: In other modes, green snakes will stop spawning after a point to give the player a chance. In Green mode, the player is faced with nothing but a limitless supply of super fast green snakes.

I would love it if you listed somewhere what the patterns are for all the colors of snakes. I had literally no idea what pattern the purple snakes run on. The game is fun and simple, but difficult. If I'm allowed to post it:
Blue: Straight line across screen
Green: Starts in straight line, but bounces off sides of screen and other snakes
Orange: Follows the cursor
Purple: ???
Purple is very much the same as Blue except Purple will move faster and in the snake-like slithering motion that Green and Orange do!
I'll perhaps update the description with timings for when things spawn in each difficulty at some point!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

I've lost every game but one to the yellow circle not showing up :/ Supafun game though, cute graphics and pretty solid otherwise. Not even worth docking half a star for, but you should try putting maximum/minimum values on that thing's coordinates :[

The graphics of this game are rather simple (white background, some hand-drawn snakes move along the screen) as well as the basis principle (avoid the snakes as long as possible).
However, it's still a challenging game, worth a play!
If you have plans for a "Snake Game 2" you should consider to add even more game-modes, right now all of 'em are time trials with different levels of difficulty. You could add tasks (i.e. get an item while avoiding the snakes), missions (were you can shoot the snakes for a while) or upgrades that pop up from time to time.
Or simply add a campaign mode (right now all of 'em are survival) were you can buy the upgrades between levels. I'm sure this has the potential for a daily award game. Good luck!
These are some great ideas! If I were to make another Snake Game I would definitely be toying with power-ups and adding a more diverse selection of game-modes, I will see how I feel after I finish up my other projects.
Thanks a lot for your review and for playing!

I want my easy gold medal please.
I just got 114 seconds on easy mode, YET no gold was given to me.
I believe there could be a glitch, the game confusing the 100th digit place as a missing number and is only registering the two digits before the 1.
That's my hypothesis. I JUST WANT MY GOLD MEDAL NOW PLEASE!
It looks like you have it now, but for piece of mind I can assure you that your glitch hypothesis does not happen. The game compares your score with the various medal boundaries of the difficulty you're in and if you succeed a boundary, you get the medal. There is no manipulation of your score at any point that could cause the theory you describe to occur.
Thanks for playing and sorry about this!
