A calamity is coming and you embark on a journey to stop it. You only have 400 years.
This is an experimental game about the passage of time. Don't expect swift action. Slow down and think, just don't wait too long...
Thanks for the front page NG ! <3
Wow...this is an interesting and (imo) frankly beautiful concept. The best part for me was interacting with the humans...well, as much as I could, anyway. The poor things were scared of me, and for good reason; the character is about twice their size and sometimes-ambulatory stone, after all. But honest to god, I felt proud of the humans, in a way, just waiting and watching them grow and explore. And the end was very touching.
One quibble: the graphics. The whole "pixellated yet deep indie game" thing has been done, man. Done and overdone. Though I suppose it did help by not distracting from the story.
Overall, great game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kudos!
I liked the game, but there are some things I'd like to point out:
1. It was way too slow.
2. There was way too much time to waste.
3. Finishing it under 150 years was not a big deal.
4. It was too short, yet the hints did not help that much to finish it quickly.
5. A third medal? I'm sad because I have no idea what to do besides following the story. I'm quite sure it involves the tree to the left of the last village, but I couldn't use it to climb to the cliff.
I know I might sound harsh (specially for someone who does not have a single game or animation to show off), but, as you said, this is an experimental game. For that reason I give you 5 stars. It was awesome for something that breaks with most of the schemes.
Keep it up!
I'm stuck at the humans and wheat part...I planted a bunch of wheat beside the humans and no change.
I appreciate the beauty of this game though but, IMO, the hints were not evident enough.
Thanks rock :') you are a hero
ahhh my zen feels revived, peace be with you all
