This could have been a bit longer....but ah well. Good use of skill. This is a promising sprite movie, might and or might not go over well with others. Just saying, some find sprite use to indicate lack of animation skill. I do not though. I would hazard a question, are you staying with just Megaman or bringing others from other games, ie Mario, into the mix? Just had to ask out of curiosity.

Regarding your question initially only work with megaman characters and their generations that truth does not think it will get good characters that have nothing to do.
Also planned as we end the first season and how you would begin the second I hope you enjoy it!
PD: The series is like say the continuation of megaman X8 as the company not continuous.
