Managed to beat the game with 371 deaths.
Once you beat the game, you come back to the beginning and your deaths aren't reset.
This is intentional until the game is expanded to convey a sense of hopelessness. It seems most of the story was implied through the game mechanics and most people aren't yet understanding that. Thank you for your rating! :)

As has been mentioned, just tweak controls so that he doesn't float when you jump forwards/backwards. And this game will be pretty badass. I died about 40 times at the part where you jump over the saw, then you go under the laser, over a laser, then back under a laser...etc. That one part there destroyed me.
Thank you for your rating, and your understanding that it will improve!
The more you use the controls the more you adapt, this was intentional as Flame must adapt to this strange environment after falling hard a number of times and failing, just as in life. The implementation of this must not have been done well though, we apologize.

Good but TERRIBLE fluidity for the controls.
Thank you, the controls have been the most highly anticipated fix, so I promise the next release will greatly improve upon this aspect of the game.

i can dig it
Thank you, that's the primary story telling mechanic :) That way you can read it if you wish, or you don't have to if you don't want to.
