You are Flame, a young man who is trapped inside his own head battling depression, rejection, condemnation, his past and ultimately hopelessness in order to conquer his future and make it his own. Fight the good fight, Don't rage quit.

As has been mentioned, just tweak controls so that he doesn't float when you jump forwards/backwards. And this game will be pretty badass. I died about 40 times at the part where you jump over the saw, then you go under the laser, over a laser, then back under a laser...etc. That one part there destroyed me.

Thank you for your rating, and your understanding that it will improve!

The more you use the controls the more you adapt, this was intentional as Flame must adapt to this strange environment after falling hard a number of times and failing, just as in life. The implementation of this must not have been done well though, we apologize.

Managed to beat the game with 371 deaths.
Once you beat the game, you come back to the beginning and your deaths aren't reset.

fatedrawn responds:

This is intentional until the game is expanded to convey a sense of hopelessness. It seems most of the story was implied through the game mechanics and most people aren't yet understanding that. Thank you for your rating! :)

It's a nice concept and interesting, but the controls are god-awful. Way too sensitive and overdone. The game isn't 'hard' as much as just the controls are annoying and seem to fuck up at times.

fatedrawn responds:

Thank you for your rating! How do you think the concept could be extended and improved upon if you had to think of something?

u deserve no stars you just basiclly promoted sucided i cant get past the first level to save the guy so you have a problem

fatedrawn responds:

We apologize if it seemed that we promoted suicide. Our intent was to offer nudges throughout that urge the player forward, the light of hope at the end of each level, the mental struggle of Flame fighting back. If you have any suicidal thoughts what so ever please call 911. We will attempt to make the game more understood earlier on, perhaps with more story concepts. Thank You.

Good but TERRIBLE fluidity for the controls.

fatedrawn responds:

Thank you, the controls have been the most highly anticipated fix, so I promise the next release will greatly improve upon this aspect of the game.
