Eh, it doesn't really get the point across and as many people have said before, the control is atrocious.

Gave up at the green room with all the sawblades and crazy jumps. Still though, pretty cool lil game.
Thank You! :)

Interesting concept. Very different. Props for the gritty sound effects and gore. However, the music and sound is also a bit grating; the art is stark and dull; Flame, a young man in the description, is just a ball; and the controls are overly sensitive. Your programming and art lacked, but maybe those were intentional choices to create a sense of hopelessness; unfortunately, I did not feel hopeless or depressing but just mildly annoyed.
Conveying emotion merely through platforming is difficult unless given the proper context. Pushing buttons is mindless, but provide character, a story, and a purpose, and I would be more invested in the game and through this, you could even explore the nature of depression and loneliness.
Yes, Flame's name was intentional, and the art was also intentional. You will learn more later. The controls have been the most highly requested fix, so we will be working on this :)
Thank you for your last comment on what you would recommend providing to increase playability. These will be added.

As has been mentioned, just tweak controls so that he doesn't float when you jump forwards/backwards. And this game will be pretty badass. I died about 40 times at the part where you jump over the saw, then you go under the laser, over a laser, then back under a laser...etc. That one part there destroyed me.
Thank you for your rating, and your understanding that it will improve!
The more you use the controls the more you adapt, this was intentional as Flame must adapt to this strange environment after falling hard a number of times and failing, just as in life. The implementation of this must not have been done well though, we apologize.
