You have fallen into a vast underground maze. Can you find your way out, or will you end up trapped in darkness forever?

We recommend playing in a dimly lit room with your speaker or headphone volume turned up. It's best to play I Can't Escape late at night, as it is an eerie exploration experience.

Troubleshooting: This game requires flash player 11+. If you don't have flash player 11, the game will tell you, and you should download it (for free) here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ .

If you get the error "requires 3D hardware rendering," that means it's not running on your graphics card for some reason. Try right clicking the game, clicking settings, and make sure "enable hardware acceleration" is checked in the display tab, then refresh the page. If that doesn't work, try updating your graphics card driver or your flash player version.

If you're using windows 8, cheese123 mentioned to me that he couldn't get the game to run unless he ran chrome in windows 8 mode. If you're using windows 8 and having trouble, you can try that and see if it makes a difference. Thanks a lot to cheese123!

If you are still having trouble playing the game, feel free to send me a PM!

@bob1923 the holes were visible, you just probably didn't properly adjust the brightness setting at first. there's a reason why they ask; so that you can see the holes, but hardly. think of it as a easy-hard setting. the more visible you make the holes, the easier it is to win the game. and it's true there's no way to map things but it's not really necessary. the windows are there so that you can see when there's a ladder (with or without a hole; you can usually see through the window) so that you can try to find a way there. I personally loved it, the music made it horribly creepy imo. I kept expecting a jump scare

This is really good! was surprised that it was a horror game and I thought I could make it but ended up forever trapped lol The atmosphere was great and the tensions kept on building as I fell from one level to another.

I don't get the fascination from other reviewers. Just wandering aimlessly. Falling down holes that aren't there. Walking up to ladders with seemingly solid ground only to fall another level. No apparent logic to the layout. The scenery never changes. It's impossible to map. No story line.

i clicked on this expecting a usual point and click escape game, and was pleasantly surprised to find a really neat horror game! when it went fullscreen, i knew i was in for a treat.

i thought i was doing pretty good, (mabye SPOILER) dodging the holes on the ground and finding hidden paths in the walls (end maybe SPOILER), but i died...

one thing that bothered me is that i collected about 3 keys and none of them worked on anything? or, mabye they did and i didnt realize it.

anyways, great game!!! 10/10, would reccomend. i died, but im gonna go play it again! :D
