Traumata is an old school point and click adventure games where you help Adam to navigate an old abandoned apartment and reveal the mystery that hidden there. Nothing can prepare him for the secret and trauma that lies on the 13th floor of the building...

Collect various items, solve puzzle to advance to the next floor, and always stay on your toes to run from a ghastly trauma incarnate that will end the game when he caught you!

I'll admit, I spent about five minutes just listening to the opening theme.
Overall interesting concept and clean design. Well done.

Over all, the game was pretty good. Maybe the story wasn't anything new but the atmosphere worked well. It kept me entretained for quite a long time. I liked the future and present mechanic.
Sadly, there are some flaws. Most of the objects are useless and it's not better when some items that didn't have anything before suddendly have something on the next floor. Some of the deductions the character made we're a bit of a stretch. The use of that many doors in a 2D game made me feel like I was in a maze. Grammar wasn't such a big problem since it was kind of funny, but it removes me from the game. the cliff hanger doesn't feel right. It's not like a continuation is needed.
You just need to work harder and you'll have a great game.

Awesome boring kinda creepy sooo good work

I'm actually not too big a fan of the music. It's ambient, and even a tad creepy, but mostly boring. The Use/Take/Look system was a nice idea, but really just ended up slowing down the game dramatically. Slow text speed also slows it down. Most of the objects weren't props that even had flavor text with a "look", and were just "nothiing interesting here". The grammar broke me out of the game as well.

Puzzles, the graphics, and the horror element of the game all came together very nicely, presenting a polished package that isn't seen very often on NG, at least not in this length of a game. However, the biggest issue for me was that I was painfully aware I was playing a game the whole time, and a rather slow one at that. The challenge of the horror genre is immersion, and with the awkward ASE controls, item after item that wasn't interesting and wasn't interactable, and bad grammar that kept reminding me of a poorly written script, that immersion was completely lacking.

I felt no emotions for the main character, and while I was creeped out by the red-eyed figure initially, that feeling quickly faded as he just became boring.

Kudos on attention to detail, especially with graphic work. Everything was stylized the same way, the color palette is beautifully understated, and the squares running across the screen at every transition were a nice touch as well. It's just that the game, for all it's polish, was never immersive, and quite honestly wasn't that fun.

Pretty intuitive and straightforward until about the 12th floor. After that, with so many doors and what, I wasn't sure what to do.
Avoiding the killer was way easy. I didn't die even once throughout the whole game.
Having to click on use before clicking the door was annoying. The guy can't figure out how to use a door without me expressly pointing it out?
Bummer the player can't read anything that he picks up. I mean, really?
Overall, the game is enjoyable. Maybe a little tedious but okay. Pretty easy to figure out what happened to his parents. Was hoping for some twist ending. The ending ... totally unsatisfying but that just means, there'll be a continuation to the game maybe? Ah, but having two endings: the emo ending and the angry ending was a nice touch.
