Let me start by saying this: Pacing makes a BIG difference. Let me follow that statement by saying that this game is quite poorly paced, and is not very enjoyable as a result.
The first level that the player jumps into consists of a few waves of regular enemies which grows in difficulty until eventually the level reaches it's climax at ... well, nothing. There's no boss fight, and the "congrats" screen comes abruptly after working through an unchallenging wave.
Level 2 pits the player against a brief series of waves, followed by what felt like a midboss. The midboss was tough and enjoyable, was followed by a wave of normal enemies who quickly evolved into a much more challenging ... well, nothing. The game, once again, abruptly congratulates you for completing a level that only felt half-done.
Level 3 was admittedly a bit better than the last two, but not by much. Yes, the level does have an appropriately difficult and intimidating boss, but the epic lead-up to that boss that should make me feel like I'm about to go and fight a massive threat is ... well, nothing. All that stands between the player and their first big challenge is a few basic waves of drones following odd paths.
Simply put, the first three levels of the game are utterly disappointing. After completing them, the player's only reason to continue with the game is ... well, nothing. It's a huge shame, too, because the previous Frantic games were fantastic, and the graphics, music, and polish from those games carried over wonderfully. But without proper, enjoyable gameplay to back it up, Frantic 3 just isn't worth most people's time.

Well deserved 5 out of 5.
This game serves Bullet Hell games justice ten times over. It reminds me of Upgrade Complete but still has a nice new feel to it. The music was energetic and futuristic which fit this game to the last dot. It also isn't a walk in the park with no modifyers which is exactly the thing you should expect from a bullet HELL game. (The hell means it's not easy.)
Great game.
P.S: @ImmenseOrgy - Then why do you play any game that you play? There are a million games of any genre or type already out there. So due to your beliefs you should be banned from playing any type of a game. By the way. A great application you should get is Brain exe., it seems near everybody has it except you.

don't people realise that the 'shit all over the screen' 2d space shooters have been WAAAAAAAAAAAY overdone?

this wasn't even an original idea of this genre, atleast some in this genre like the boss only one have some originality and fun

there's literally thousands of these games all over the internet and you decided that for some reason there should be another? what were you thinking?

1 star coz the music was alright

Trace's Review - Frantic III

Freaking. Awesome.

The game really evolved from the beginning to now, I must give it 5/5. You did very well in making this, congratulations to all who supported Poly in making this.

Keep up the good work.

5/5 Perfect. Until next time, see ya.

Well, this is probably going to sound strange, but I actually really enjoyed this game! It was most likely because the gameplay was just so easy to understand. It's not one of my favorites from you, but still really cool. I basically just had to move around all the time because firing was automatic. The sounds were pretty cool too. The one I died on was Stage 2 of the second area with the giant boss.

It's bad enough when a boss has a big bar of health. The bigger bosses have three bars of health! While it wasn't that imaginative, I thought the designs were pretty good. It probably could have used some better graphics, though. It's a fun game for fans like me.
