I like the overall aesthetic, but there should have been much more to it, even though it was simply "a work in progress".

As a student, I don't show half-made things to my masters, and say " This is a work in progress so don't give me any crap about how bad it is...". If you want to show what you are doing, do a trial version. Not a 10 lines program with a bad art. Ah, and how I can see, you made a bad "crtl+c ctrl+v" in fancy pants.
