Wow, those sound effects are terrible. They really ruin any sort of atmosphere the game attempts. Anyway, this isn't in any way better than any of the Crush the Castle games, so why play this instead?

Game is fun, the graphics fit it and so do the sound effects. Together it creates an enjoyable environment. I did spend quite a while playing the game and may continue playing the game so the good outweighs the bad obviously.

The bad is that the game is troubled with slow down. It's just frustrating when the game is slowing down during the menu screen and getting choppy.

Sometimes the enemy wins in a single turn, other times they do the same shot and it does nothing. It's a huge piss off when the enemy wins in a single turn but why does the same shot effect the environment different each time? I've noticed this in quite a few flash games where they have a lot of physics involved and it seems to create variable gameplay each time. The physics isn't a terrible thing but it can be frustrating.

Birds flying across the screen, why? I shoot and my shot hits a bird... Hit restart, why would I allow my opponent to shoot a shot after I've hit a bird and given him a free shot when he can possibly destroy me in one shot? Birds are a cool concept but realisticly they just add frustration and annoyance for no reason plus I hate having to restart because the game needs to load.

Money, why the hell do I get money? I need to buy cannon balls, makes sense but what if I lose a level, I need to spend money and buy more cannon balls. That's ok but if I lose a level 50 times in a row I have to go grind on an easy level to make money so I can afford to buy the expensive cannon balls needed to pass the current level I've failed 50 times. I see no point in money other than to create uneeded stress. The inventory makes sense.

Crowns are awarded to me if I complete a level in a certain amount of turns. The more crowns I amass, the more special cannon balls and inventory I unlock. Cool idea but the games very linear. The game requiers/expects you to get a crown each level so by the time you get to level 12, you should have 11 crowns(one for each level passed) which gives you the flame cannon ball which is required to pass the level without severe frustration! I get a total of 10 cannon balls to choose from but they're only made available slowly and only the newest one is really required/suggested for the new level. Maybe that changes later in the game but I'm on level 47 so that's alot of levels played already.

Great game but that was some things that just bothered me with the game and how it presents itself.

I think you were trying to capture the spirit of Worms/Angry Birds. I have no qualms with the sound effects, in fact I think they're the best part of the game. Unfortunately the gameplay itself is a bit slow between turns and it's a bit 'samey'

Good concept though
