Awesome game. The story is very touching, the game challenges the player, well drawn, and easy control. 5 stars.
I'm glad you connected with the story. Thank you for sharing.
A very nice little idea. Traversing the shattered picture each with it's own sense of gravity. That and the idea of it being an interactive poem is good to. I'd highly recommend it being put in the "Art Games" collection. However clearly stating the controls would help too.
Honestly, I wanted to but couldn't make it look good. I ended up leaving it out because there were no other buttons / controls and thought it added a little bit to the experience. I'm sorry you experienced the opposite.
Bravo! A brilliant concept, honestly. I also think the theme is a little depressing, but hey! A mother`s love is one of the most important things in the world so I can see why the story may be a little heavy handed, but maybe you stepped a little too far over the line of emotional and reached depressing. BUT if you have a strong heart you will love this game, it`s a wonderful example of how games SHOULD be. Games that push the envelope, games that are something you have never seen before. 4 and a half stars.
Hopefully it's not too depressing. I'm glad you still found some joy in it. Thank you for playing.
That was a unique element you put into your game. I would've like it if it were longer but the ending just took me off guard. Well done.
It is a little short but I'm glad you still enjoyed it. Thank you.
Brilliant concept, I can't imagine the programming headaches.
I'm a little disappointed the theme had to be sad/artsy though. I miss 'happy endings' and 'happy quests' and so on and so forth. They seem to be a thing of the past. In an odd way, I feel it is higher art to make something happy and beautiful than to tug at people.
It doesn't have to be negative. The child accepting the loss of his mother and finally being free of grief is, in its own way, a very happy ending.
