Finally, an Arcanoid clone that's hard for the right reasons.
They don't even get the basics right--the paddle should effect the trajectory, there should be powerups, you should have options when you're going to the next level. Right now it's just a trivial bounce-back game, with no skill necessary, and you need to wait for the next level to appear before it's unlocked. This should have been on the drawing board for longer.
Good polish for simple game
A frustratingly (at first) fresh take on a classic. I love that any impact makes the screen shudder, knocking you off your precognitive trajectory. This alone adds a subtle layer of complexity to the game, but is quickly compensated for, and loses its novelty quickly. I'd like to see some Arkanoid style power-ups. Their addition would have kept me playing past the second level, and maybe had me bookmarking the game.
There seems to be no change in direction regardless of here the ball hits the bat...so it just keeps boucing in the same path.
