I believe that life is too short to think too much about things and from hear on I will try to live that way.
It's hard to do it when everybody on the bus looks like they are either about to pass out or any attempts at eye-contact would involve getting yelled at. Forget talking, we should all be able to just smile and nod at each other.
... oh yeah, this is supposed to be a "movie review". Good movie. Simple animation and graphic style, which appropriately deviates from what is observed to what is being heard, which is the keystone of the project. It poses a strong, relatable idea, has plenty of reason behind why the idea should be considered, and it ends off on a humorous note just for good measure.
We need more movies like this. Keep up the good work!
I agree, I keep thinking about things and just worrying. Isntead of pondering, go into action. Do what you feel is right. Nothing will ever be accomplished if you sit back and keep to yourself. Meet the people, and then you will be able to meet yourself. Good moral.
I like the message but I feel as if too many people don't think enough. But I suppose your comment was more on the subject of over contemplation and taking action over matters that sitting idle waiting for something to happen. However, I feel as if your message (though I agree and has a good point) could be misconstrued to literally think less and just do, like the Nike commercial implies "Just do it." In a modern world of overly stimulated activities and an impatience for things that are "slow" or take time I feel that people need to slow down and contemplate things a little more.
But like I said, I loved the message you put out there. Industrialization has urbanized us to the point where we touch shoulders with each other on a daily basis. We're so close to each other on a physical plane but yet we're so far and isolated from each other that it almost seems that we've forgotten how to say hello to one another or wish each other a good day or even just oddly enough chat. And to be creatures of social interaction, that we would find it odd if someone were to strike up a conversation with us at a bus stop is just a sad commentary on how far we've drifted from our roots as people and in some bit of a larger sense lost some of our humanity, not only for others but to ourselves as well.
Overall your animation was good, had a bit of humorous charm, and the message was deep which I appreciated.
