EDIT: Much obliged daily 2nd!

Max Payne fakes death, then kills the way we all know and love him for. A stick tribute to one of my favorite game series.

I came into this expecting to hate it, but this was a pretty good tribute and had some NOICE cinematic moments. I just wish you would've gotten me to voice Payne for you. Maybe next time!

I normally *despise* stick animations, but there are exceptions, and this is one of them. I was totally prepared to blam this mother if it didn't wow me, but color me impressed. The pacing of the action was really good, and unlike a lot stickimations this had a clear plot I could follow. What really stood out to me, though, was the use of good perspective and a nice feel to a lot of the "shots" you used. Stuff like the opening of those cabinets as seen from inside. I was really impressed with that and the overall smoothness. It was a clean, intelligent and fun little short. Emotion was expressed well despite limitations of the stick-style, and overall I say a job well done.

There were, of course, some things that stuck out to me as bothersome:
-Differentiating Max from the others by using only a mild color difference. Some discerning features would have been good imo (like that signature hairdo from Max Payne 1)
-The shotgun sound effect did not sound like a shotgun to me. It sounded more like an airgun or something. Took some of the wind out of that fight for me
-I appreciate the use of a good extreme close-up to to build tension and show emotion, but it's kind of...strange to zoom in on stick with that. It worked, but it just felt weird looking at that blank slate in what is normally a shot used to convey detailed emotions in something.
-The pre-movie voiceover seemed a little out of place.

Those are mostly nit-picky things, though. Overall, really good work. I'll have to check out more of your stuff.

Camera angles and the action were outstanding, really draws you in, as did the story. The stick dudes kinda dampened things going in, but the fluidity of the action really made up for it. The heavy music over the barely heard intro dialog early on sucked :( This movie was a nice surprise. You definitely made me a fan!

Great video, but I think it would be a good idea too edit it and somehow put the original max payne story into the stick world I mean this felt vary cinematic with the opening, the gun fights and the soundtrack some if you did it right you could be the first to make a stick movie with an actual story and maybe even voice actors, but that's just me.
I think the video was vary well done, and definitely hope you find the idea I mentioned useful!
