It is way more than just 'visual novel about disabled girls'
but this game is awesome anyway!
Beat it. But I have to wonder? whats with the bro fist? its useless as a sub weapon and every time I try to use it I get hit as well because I am too close to the enemy.
So I went through the game on Kenji must die mode all the way through level 2 WITH the bro fist, but Iwanako curb stomped me faster than I can say MUDADA! How on earth am I supposed to defeat Iwanako with a bro fist? Well, anyway, thats my gripe, other than thatI have already beaten everything, even the secret boss.
you're supposed to reach the secret boss by taking the underground path in stage 1 all the way to the left, brofist is meant to be used there.

It's a good Castlevania homage, the only gripe I have with it is the hit detection is off with the animation. All to often I saw the scarf connect with the enemy but nothing come of it. That was the most difficult part of it. A nice try.
As a huge Castlevania fan I must say this is choice.
The controls are smooth, and the level design is great.
I beat the first level and boss on my first try, but had to exit, and had forgotten the password so I had to spend an hour trying to beat it again because my fingers magically transformed into dicks or something. I also see the passwords are right there in the description. Well.
I spent another hour trying to get to that secret fucking boss. I kept dying while jumping over the platforms above the water, I don't know if it was poorly designed or I just suck. But additionally it took another fucking hour of going back there until I could finally beat the fucker. And I could only get that extra life (the one where the garbage can chick kicks you up to it) like once every ten tries. So I just died more often than not. Little things like that took away from the experience a lot.
BUT. Overall this game is too good to let little things like that put me off. So five stars to you. I loved the default difficulty, I thought it was perfect. Though I thought casual was far too much of a drop in difficulty. But that's just my opinion. Anyway thanks for making this game and allowing me to fulfill my lifelong desire of beating up disabled girls with a scarf.
I'm glad you liked it! I was very worried about making the default difficulty too hard and throwing most players off after their first game over. I think the game would've been a lot better if I took more time to add an easier first stage, get players hooked in and throw them a learning curve... next time.
The platform and the extra life candle was a design flaw on my part; the water made the visible platform very hard to see, and standing near the edge of a downward slope is very awkward. I'm glad you brought it up, stuff like this will be rectified in future releases.
