And here goes your old Venom on a rant stint, after a good couple months of "gameplay", plowing thru the 16 zones:

Gee, I do not know where to start. Many mention the plot/story on their pathetic excuse for a review, so let me begin my odyssey from there:
The story is pathetic. But to make you understand better, I will elaborate:
The story is nothing more than a series of rip-offs ranging from Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Day of the Tentacle to the Pirates of the Caribbean, Call of Duty and Iron Man. What is the story in a nutshell?(I should mention spoilers (OMGODZORZ!) so if you do not wanna see it, get a gas mask, and connect it with a chlorine tank and open the valve at a maximum flow)
You are the imprisoned pilot (probably), which is later freed by a princess (Star Wars anyone?), and you help her escape the besieged ship. Later you along the ditches of the universe (to uneducated dipshits: in a RHETORIC sense) meet a cocky lesbian shootist (which seems to be a one of more likeable characters for me, maybe it is not all ripoffs I ponder when I look at her, but then I think better and NOPE, I saw that before), a overspoiled brat (do you REALLY have to satisfy 12-year-old possible players with this detail?), a Terminator-type gorilla, and a robot ninja, later traveling across every ripoff imaginable. What strikes me the most is how childish the whole story is, despite occasional adult gag (more on THIS later) and whole humor-made zone intros (yes, I refer to Puny Human Birthdays, which is probably the most original piece in the entire "game") and pieces. Other annoying them of prominence is this zealous "Kasan" glorification in the text. Had I not played Dawn of the Dragons in may of slipped, but it made it evident that not only this is by the same writer, but he wanted to slip in an alter ego inside the whole story. And this is what makes it to collapse for me. Question one: why does the storyteller assume, that I would totally be feeling bad about Illaria's death. I personally found the bitch annoying, and this whole forcing feeling of super-linear story makes me puke. Question two: I know this is just the story, author jerks off at, with the whole mental sex of the story, his alter ego traveling through all his childhood's favorites, but why does he think I would buy that and not be thinking he is fucked it the head? Question three: What is the big suck-up for China and Japan? The dear author made only a joke out of himself. Like numerous occasions of mentioning the use of nun-chucks (which is also an obvious reference to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) by the members of the opposition to his dear alter ego. Anyone with knowledge of military history of close combat weapons will tell you that the nun-chuck is merely an agricultural tool, used for threshing grains, and the only-ones who used them in combat were farmers in their rebellions. The only real use to a trained fighter are for strangling purposes, and even then, if you would ask me to strangle a person, I would rather do it bare-handed, than with nun-chucks. But here goes question four: What is with all the writer's antipathy towards industrial music and fashion, plus other alternative styles? I know they are the typical run-of-the-mill weak enemies for the mighty heroes, like in terminator, and movies featuring Jason Voorhees, but this is what makes this story 25% blander than the wallpaper glue, bringing to it's ultimate downfall. I know this Screaming Barracuda is a somewhat exception, but it is more like one of those church campaigns, trying to attract the hapless youth into their activities. Some of the readers (and with 99.9999% unlikelyhood of reading this - the devs) may ask me:
"But ye ole, Captain Ego van Venom, NCO of the Review Ranting Battalion, do you even know what it takes to write a story?"
And you know what I say? Yes, I know. I have been writing a lot of works since 15, almost non-stop. When I was living ripe, when I could barely scratch a dime together and even now. This includes Poetry, putting historical events in perspective, preparing philosophical material (I am personally strongly influenced by Nietzsche and Epictetus), Historical Fiction, Political Fiction, Science Fiction, and other random works, so do not dare telling me that I do not know what a story needs. If you had at least an E from your English exam (or 5 if you are German, or 4 if you are from former Eastern Block, or otherwise 40%), you would just happen to know, that any story needs the beginning and the end. Okay so this seems to have one end of that shitty stick, moving on. Any good story needs events in between being meaningful and relevant to the end result - the stories here are largely interchangeable rip-off, unoriginal garbage, so meh. An engaging story demands a character development, which it does have in a limited extent, with side-characters being largely interchangeable as they stayed majorly the same constantly, except for Rautha and to a limited extent Talia. A story not to be laughed at by anyone with at least half the wits, the attitude changes would need to have psychological and rational back-up. Uh-uh. This is what it DOES NOT have. You would think that at the bit of Genocide upon Centurians it would be something "leading to", but when you look at it better, and it fails to - an obvious writer's whim. So if I were a writer of this story and this got out, what would I do? Change my name, get a plastic surgery, and emigrate to Nigeria, so no-one would be pointing fingers at me for any reason, other than me being white. If I were CEO and this got approved on my game? I would find the writer and do what Vlad the Impaler did best, and then do the same to whoever approved, and then do it to myself, so I would not live in shame. Overall the story would of been much more engaging, simpler to write and shorter if you were having a multiple choice system. To read those pages of later zones was AGONIZING royal pain in the butt. Anyway rant on story complete, moving on.

*enter cricket sound here* There is NO gameplay. I know that some argued the case, but what do you really do in this "game"? You dress your paper doll character, click on the icons to progress... It is all in all numbers-only shin kicking competition like World of Warcraft is, just you do not collect sets of demon buttocks to complete the quest. You only do that for personal gain (though in some cases they do require one or other item for story progress) - more numbers. And this is why I really dislike most MMORPGers. If your numbers are lower, you are fucked, whichever way you look at. So in short an obsolete "gameplay" just like the World of Warcraft, Air Rivals, and other bunch of shin kicking competitions. And do not tell me that company was limited by anything. 5th planet is a company, with quite some ground already. They could of taken up same gameplay as most Kabam games are where you DO FEEL, like you are doing something more than shin-kicking other players to death (Imperium Galactic War anyone?). Or even further like - Project Tank. It is almost a World of Tanks rip-off, true but it is a full-on game in a browser. And ooh, Project Tank is a FACEBOOK GAME, using a BROWSER WINDOW JUST LIKE THIS without any of this bullshit. This game is only to money-vampirize hapless fools like that Mighty character, which rage-quit for spending almost a grand and not getting his whim. So there you have it.

By "other features" I mean the chat and for me it was the guys in it, which kept me going with this garbage. And personally I would of not minded any of the shortcomings at all, because this was like a chatroom with a minigame while waiting for people to come online, and I may even considered it worthwhile enough to maybe even actually spend something and later brag to my chat buddies, but there was one shitty fly in this soup - censore. Here are a series of questions regarding censore:
1) By international law anyone who plays an MMO should be 13 years or older. And PEGI 13 rating quite clearly allows mild language, so why to really watch what the heck anybody says?
2) There are both adult references and mild language in the story, so isn't it hypocritical to bare people from using the very same words on the chatrooms?
3) Why censore is not optional as in most MMOs? If you really think someone is to get a heart attack from all the "bad language" put that in the settings (well, make a settings pane first), otherwise this is FOOKING ANNOYING. Especially when you talk technically, in any perspective, such as medically-orientated and EVEN mechanics-orientated conversation, for example: "here are 158 bearing balls. Every second ball is load-bearing and has diameter of 40mm. The rest are spacers, with diameter of 39mm . The average free space between the balls was 65µm. " - if you used chat you know what is to be censored, and all you can do is face-palm, swearing at it. Especially after a long and hard day of work, when you give minimum amount of fucks about any censores.
4) Why you do not make any age verifications, and put options to not display my posts (other than raid alerts) to users of lower than specified age?
5) Why do you allow such aggressive admins? No seriously. Numerous people are by now under bans because of what they "offensively said". ONE - there never was ANY EULA which I had to formally accept, that I would agree to put up with censore or any other regulations. TWO - No ToS or other links pointing to such indications. Therefore no admin should have ANY power unto the chat streams. THREE - Even so, the very least they could of done were to put in-chat warnings for offense, but they just ban you without any warning, or specified reason, I know since I am one of the numerous banned people, standing in the same cue as PhuckFace (now most possibly renamed, as it totally offended one of the kindergartener devs and their happy joy world) and At942. "Do I write this review in rage" you may ask, but I can only laugh - "nope". I am better than that and them (devs, not them banned guys, those guys are pretty awesome, so spiky dildo up your ass, whoever banned em), I do not need to do that at all. So devs, admins, if you read this - think whatever you want, I guess you would sleep much better with turning blame on my so-called "anger", and that I am only raging, so you can just as well pick that, it is not like I care.

Overall - find something better. I recommend Kabam and games over this garbage.

But you know what? Imma create an MMO too. Make a chat stream and a game. You know what the game will be? PONG!!!! And know what? I win! PvP and SP is purely reliant on your skills, so it is always even, no shin-kickers. With throwing in a few themes, modes and premium payable modes, themes and features, it is a win-win for both user and the player, with zero bullshit! Also private rooms (like community groups or cults, or that sorta thing), friend lists, and permapost threads so people could do roleplay in group threads/private channels. Har har, I just thought up an easy to build, much more engaging, social and liberal game than what you vomited here! The joke is all on you!

There's some debate, but overall people find this review helpful

Great story, unfortunately the same problem that most of this type games has - wallet wins you everything. The more you spend the better your rank. Other than that great artwork, plenty of items. Also don't like that admins (devs) can play and as usual they have gear that is far more superior that usual players.
