The astronaut John works for for the company called MOON INC, after 2 years on the moon unexplainable things start happening, strange visions start tormenting John, is he actually alone?, Will he be able to get back home?

Use the arrow keys to move your character, SPACE for actions and the mouse to change dialogue

This game was created using Pixel-art and has been designed entirely by MOUSE!!

This game is a mix between a game and a movie styled as an art-game

Game version: 1.0
The game is more than 16MB, due to the high quality graphics and sound!

I took inspiration from the movies MOON, SUNSHINE, EVENT HORIZON, but the story of this game is completely different!

I thank all my fans for their support!!

As KayloMaster, I will review the reviews here :). Now, lets start.

Well, I have classes here, and I will review it as an Pixel Art game, not the modern games.

The use of Pixel Art here was beatiful. The atmosphere, the backgrounds, the characters... All detailed. I have played your other games, I am such a fan of your games, I should say. But this one, was different. It had such art of a planet, I do think that this took you a lot of time, if you were a new guy, you would have just made the background in 5 minutes, but you worked on that too, aswell as everything.
PIXEL ART : 10/10

The story was beatiful aswell. The ending got me, my imagination came on, and I sat here, thinking about the story, and why was John seeing those. For 1 hour, I was here, so my friend came over and told me what was I doing, then I came back to the real world. It made me enter the world of John, and things that he saw, and his story, even his family. It was beatiful, you made my imagination came on after 5 years, good sir. I also like how you will make a prequel because of the people here who didnt get anything at all.
STORY : 10/10

Now, this wont be that long, the controls were realistic and easy to use. The complainers about the "slow-walking" here, go and look for information about the moon. You cannot run there, and in the game you are an astronaut, so what do you expect? An astronaut running like a race car? The using of mouse and keyboard combined makes it easy to use, for me. I always have a hand on my mouse. It isnt hard to use your hand for a few seconds. You combined the use of keyboard and mouse good, and I thank you for that. I also noticed this was longer than the others, and I wrote this wont be long at the start... :P
CONTROLS : 10/10

Now, lets go for my comments on peoples opinions.

"Its 8-bit, I hate that!"
What do you expect? A game like this should have 8-bit, and as KayloMaster said, you could have seen it from the thumbnail, if not, from the start... You should have quited there. This game isnt about the 8-bit at all, I played it for the story, not saying I didnt like the 8-bit, it was also great, as I said on my reviews. You play these sort of games for its story.

"The astronaut is slow and movement is hard."
It isnt hard. The controls are realistic, movement and keyboard was combined good, it isnt hard to use your hands for a few seconds. The story kept me going even if the astronaut was slow, and I liked it, realistic as I said. Go and find information on the Moon.

"What was the Ending?"
The ending, you had to use your imagination and thoughts. I sat down here for almost an hour, my friend got me to the real world. Think about the ending. "Why did John do that? Why was John seeing this? Why did John dream about all the things?" Think of those, and use your thoughts for some minutes.

"Why was John hallucating things?"
Because he was there alone... He felt so alone and isolated, he started to hallucate things. He couldnt take it, he missed his family. Play the game, you WILL get it.

"Why was he there alone?"
This one is simple. He was sent there alone, not with a team. Do you think they would send an army of astronauts to the Moon? Its 2027 or something, probably a lot of astronauts went there alredy.

"Why did the base have a self-destruct?"
John also dreamed that, that was a hallucation. It wasnt real.

"Why did he take his helmet off?"
Use your imagination, he was hallucating things, he didnt know what he was actually doing.

"Why was the base haunted?"
His making a prequel for you guys, also, he was hallucating all that, the dead astronaut wasnt real, John just saw it in his dreams. Maybe it was his fear, that he would die?

EventHorizon responds:

<==Wow, wow, WOW!, I am stunned by this review, you described every feeling, emotion you felt in the game and this makes me very happy, you too as "KayloMaster" have understand perfectly the game, I'm glad to hear that you are my fans and this in fact is different from my other games, I consider it my best game, I have to admit that this was to be my last game, but after the success it has achieved and thanks to my fans and to Newgrounds staff I decided to create other games, so thank you for your exceptional review and I'm glad you liked the game, thanks for the support, I appreciate it!! :D==>

This is more of an "interactive" movie than a game. Add sound options please, this 'music' sucks. Crappy art with incredibly linear gameplay.

EventHorizon responds:

Sound options?, crappy art?, linear gameplay?, from your review I know that you've never played a art game, you haven't even finished the game so how can you write a review?
I always accept criticism, but by people who have at least completed the game!!

First of all i felt like you could have done better, much better.I dunno why you have limited yourself to side scrolling camera when you could have done it in isometric perspective and add some more darkness or view more from the moon. When it comes to gameplay then quite honestly you could have make this a flash animation right away. And when it comes to horror or terryfing factor there is almost none-you said you took inspiration from the movies you that you have mentioned but those movies(surprisingly i have seen them all) had pretty much horror atmosphere and at least until like few minutes before the end of the movie you were not sure what is really happening-so yeah sentences like "OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT?!?!IS THAT REAL?!?!I AM SCARED!!!" won't build much of a mystery story nor horro atmosphere, now would they? But the visual part of this game is quite good - better luck next time i know you can do much better man.

OK, Why the hell is everyone ripping this game a new one!? It's a great game!
I'll start by responding to several of the "negative aspects" of this game.

First of all, he moves slow because it creates stress from not being able to move and run away from these things and second and most importantly, it's realistic. Ever read up on the moon? You can't run that fast on the moon. -.-

Second criticism; it's 8-bit.
WTF dude!? You can see right from the game icon, it's freakin 8-bit. So why are you here if you knew it was 8bit in the first place...?

Third; Ending didn't make sense.
Well, yeah! That was the idea! The whole game is meant to be confusing and left open for theories and someone to come up with their own endings; it leaves our imaginations vulnerable and they immediately come up with these ideas that disturb and shock us; it's how the imagination works.

Fourth, and I quote: "Uhg, I have to use the mouse AND keyboard for what should have only been the KB."
Now let's pick on someone else...

Fifth; Why is John alone there?
EVER HEARD OF ATMOSPHERE AND ISOLATION!? ITS PURPOSE IS TO FEEL THAT YOU ARE ALONE!!!! It's an element commonly used in great games like Cry of Fear, Dead Space, and the all glorified Slender. See what I mean?

Sixth; There's no explanation as to why the moon station is haunted.
DOES EVERYTHING NEED TO BE SPELLED OUT FOR YOU?! IT'S OPEN FOR THOUGHT! It's there for no obvious reason FOR a reason. That's the whole idea of the game! It keeps you guessing; why the hell is this thing here? EVEN THE MAIN CHARACTER BLATANTLY SAYS IT!

Yes, I am defending this game; I think it's friggin' great, but I am in no way telling you how to feel. I am however telling you how to THINK.
So, to conclude...
Lads and Ladettes, grow a fuckin brain. I should note that I'm not talking about everyone, just the ones who are fuckin ripping on this great and genuinely creepy game because they don't know how to use their imaginations.

And that's my review; it's a frikkin good game.

EventHorizon responds:

<=I read every single review that other users have written but this review is the most complete of all!, you have fully understood the game, you're one of the few who has done it but you have truly understood the sense and significance of the game, all other users should read your review, thanks for having writing it!, and I'm glad you liked the game!! :D :D=>
