For a first time animation it was relatively decent. All I can say is keep practicing.

What the what. I have no idea what just went down...but it somehow made sense. Well, I think this type of humor is right at home here, if nowhere else. It's not like I'm not a fan of that kind of humor either ;3. I also think it's a pretty good job for your first animation, keep em' coming. That said, since advice was requested, I will say what I know.
Interface-wise, there really isn't much. Meaning, there is no interface. That might seem trivial, but one can never stress fully the importance of having a "play" screen and a "replay" button. It allows the viewer to dictate when they want the video to start, and when/if they want to watch it again or not. I don't know about others, but I myself like having those choices. Next, while the time transitions aren't a bad route per se, they really don't add to the piece, and raise some questions. "Did 3 weeks just rush by?" is a common question, another one would be "Why is it necessary to fast forward 3 weeks to continue the story?" Other types of transitioning (ie: the old "Batman transition") may take a bit more work, but also add more character to your piece.
Well, that's all for now, but good job on your work. I look forward to seeing improvement in the future.
Thank you,
About the interface- sadly I don't have any clue how to do it, but there's one more thing to learn. :)
