This game is Sonic 06 levels of unpolish. It's a bad version of a facebook game.

This game is garbage.

Starting from the fact that it felt the need to hold your hand and tutorialize

If you want to make a game, then let people play. I will figure things out on my own. I don't need you to stop the game to tell point out

The hell? Half the time, I don't even know what's happening. One moment I'm in the Tardis, the other moment I'm meeting some pirate guy, next I land by a street, with no real purpose. Don't know what I'm supposed to do, or why I should care. This is horrible game design.

Is this Doctor Who? No it is bloody well not. It's got nothing to do with the soul or joy of the franchise.
It took me half an hour to do anything thanks to the connection issues combined with the lack of intuitive layout. The amount of random stuff thrown at you to get the actual GAME started is stupid. Only to finally find out that its rubbish. (The content is rubbish but it was also lagging a stupid amount as well.)

You start the very first mission on earth and the LOOK is wonderful. You have hope for a minute. Then you realise it's a point and click adventure game. One without the ability to talk or interact properly. Oh you can interact, but only in mini-games. Now some might be happy with this kind of set up. Mindless tentatively challenging games with good graphics? Sounds okay right? No. This is not a game, it's a game within a game. If I wanted to play any of those crappy mini games why do I need to spend so long getting through a horrible Doctor Who set up to get to them? That's a big IF too.

So yes. Closing this now and going to enjoy a game that is actually trying to entertain and challenge me. Not distract me with shiny graphics and use as many smaller games as it can to keep me in the game zone so it can hopefully take my money. Games like this feel like prostitutes and I feel dirty for playing them.

I want to review this solely as a game, but it has two things against it.
1. It's using the sacred name of Doctor Who. If you're going to make a Doctor Who game, it should be everything I need in life, not this blamable shit.
2. Everything about this feels like your run of the mill social media game. You know the type, where you spend hours doing tedious things, add your friends/like this/pay irl money for bonuses, wait an hour before you can do something again or "sign up for our free newsletter". It's all good to me, I don't like them and wouldn't take offence to it were it not for the fact that newgrounds has mashed these pieces of shits up with the rest of it's games in what I can only assume is a mass conspiracy to have regular people try out these shitty games to make extra revenue. Put this crap in it's own separate, fenced off area and let it's score reflect it's ACTUAL votes. I remember that crap farmville ripoff that had 4 stars for the longest time when half of the reviews rated it as a 0.
