I understand how annoying this can be. However I also understand why someone would be more torn up by losing thier favorite pet than a family member. Sometimes when some one doesn't seem to be bothered that a family member is dead it might be because they are actually happy about it. I have heard of situations where someoone hated them so much that they were relieved they never had to deal with that paticular person again. It's called resentment people. sometimes someone can be so curel to you you feel relieved that they are gone and they can never hurt you again.
Now on the case of being more torn up about a pet than a person. Ever think that maybey that pet was the only one you could call a freind. Sometimes a pet is your only friend because whenever you try to make freinds with other people they always leave you out of it. I have had this happen before.

Yeah I'm the type to cry over a hurt animal than a human. It's just animals are so pure. I feed my dogs, birds, and squirrels before myself. Eh, just my nature. It's easier to care for a creature. No hidden agenda with them. Except Foamy probably.
