(This game is a tribute to Gunstar Heroes and all the classics that my favourite game company Treasure made. It's also got little shout outs to over games as well.)
Yes, I know stuff is missing and some stuff could be done better, but it's just a little flash project I wanted to really do for myself. It's a mix between, Gunstar, Megaman and Contra.)

Well, it's finally done. I know it's a bit late but I ran into some issues like you do. Anyway it's all there, four big levels, lots of bosses and some retro action sprinkled on top.
It's pretty difficult but there is unlimited continues to counter balance that aspect. I've added medals and extras to unlock for you peeps who enjoy that sort of thing.
It's a big, CPU heavy game, so if you're experiencing lag, you can download the standalone offline exe for free. (You could also resize the game by 2x to it's native 320x224 resolution.)

Anyway, I hope you like it, it took a while to make and I have put a lot of effort into this, (about four months worth really.) So yeah, hope you enjoy.
The stand-alone version never unlocks the 4th stage, even if you beat the first 3 all in one go.
Very nice, and very well polished. I wish I had a USB gaming controller to use with this game. There's only one thing I would change - I don't understand why the flamethrower is the only weapon that stops you when you shoot it. That was kind of annoying while playing. I would allow movement while shooting with that one. Otherwise, very well done.
A lot of Dithering and effort here, i like that.
Difficult, but pretty fun. The difficulty curve is what threw me off, especially on the third level. Why is there no Spreader on Level 3?
Oh, for everyone else, the flamethrower and rocket launchers are NOT the best weapons. The Spreader is. Each orb is just as powerful as a Megashot (I assume that's what the M stands for), but there's three of them. Wider range, infinite distance, rapid fire, and it shoots throw obstacles like the Laser. Also, you can move while shooting it. This is why it's so well hidden in Levels 1, 2 and 4. If it's in Level 3, though, I can't find it.
I'm gonna cut this review a little short because of a personal problem I have with this game. Like Megaman X on an emulator, I have an awful time trying to play run n' gun games using a keyboard. Therefore I was not able to appreciate shit about this clearly polished and well-designed game. It looks very nice, the controls seem to work, I just can't comprehend them with my excessively tiny brain.
