Well, it's obviously supposed to be an 8-bit game, which I have somewhat of a soft spot for. However, unlike a lot of 8-bit games on Newgrounds, this appears to not have been 8-bit for the sake of nostalgia or art, but because it's easy. This game is simple, and I grade mercifully so 3.
This wasn't supposed to be a game with an 8-bit art style. The game was designed for a competition where the theme was "80x60 window", which we interpreted as a screen resolution of 80x60 pixels. We used a limited colour palette simply because we thought it would look all right.

Just a really, really simple game. Most of the time I suck at running to the right. Graphics were OK but the pixels (or should I say the resolution) are really fucking big. And the music is nice. Other than that there's not much to it. You only press space, so you won't be able to get closer or further away from that explosion. I could never jump over those obstacles. Got tired of it pretty fast.
