Test your coordination in this two-handed fall-down platformer.
Left hand: A+D
Right hand: Left+Right
Full screen: F (it's pretty cool)
Made in one hour, polished up in a few more.
Choose ANY song from the audio portal to loop while you play. Song choice and high score are auto-saved for later.
**NOTE: If someone actually gets to 5000, I'll put in a 5000 pt medal that you can come back and get later with the auto-save. But that might really be impossible.
I did 3999 OH GOD WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved it.
Simple, addictive, and motivating... I mean the songs are just like "wtf? I... love it.."
The only flaw is that the game is simple; it doesn't really have a "I HAVE to keep playing" feel to it. But hey, it sure is fun to play.
I gave this game 5 stars, because it is
>the (simple) controls work fine without any flaws
>the game runs smooth
>the gameplay is fair
(and not randomly fair and unfair, which would turn it into a "luck game" and less a "skill game")
>the graphics are just perfect
>the main theme made me laugh :)
Although the game's graphics are super simple, it is an important part of the game.
Better graphics with all kind of details would affect your concentration and it would be harder to focus on those two ball-type characters and that might ruin the whole fun.
This game is kinda addicting, but I never felt any frustration.
The only thing that made me stop playing this game, was the fact that my eyes started hurting.
So I suggest to make a break every 10 minutes.
This brings me to the next thing; the colors.
The color contrast might be one of the reasons why your eyes start hurting,
but this color combination works just perfect.
If this game were black and white (inb4 black and white are not colors) it would be way more difficult to focus on the whole thing and might make you kinda sleepy as well.
I'm not a biologist, but I think this game is also nice to test your right/left hemisphere.
Nice work! Cheers!
I thought about adding powerups, but thought that might make things too unfair and luck-based, in such a short game.
Thanks for the review bro.
This is a lot of fun, but couldn't you just cheat by getting a second person to play the other hand?
Simple, but addicting. Considering that this was put together in a few hours, it's really neat. The option to put in any audio portal music is a great addition. This is a game I'm certainly going to return to so I can earn the rest of the medals. Good job!
