NOTES:
Soulcaster was built in XNA and originally appeared on Xbox Live Indie Games. It has been ported to PC (along with its sequel), and this HTML5 version is its latest incarnation, made possible with Kevin Gadd's JSIL technology.
This is kind of an experiment, offering the full game on Newgrounds for free--we're not sure what impact this will have on retail sales or what kind of ad revenue we'll get, but I'm excited to bring this game to a wider audience.
Drop me a line to let me know what you think!

This is a great game. I loved playing it.
Only downside: It killed my sounddriver on a regular basis, so that I had no sound at all and my micro went dead, too. After closing the game all is back to normal.

Fantastic game. I remember playing the hell out of this when it was on Xbox 360's Indie marketplace. A unique combination of Zelda-like adventure and tower defense. Definitely requires a bit of strategic thinking. All done in a beautiful, old-school sprite style.
Anticipating to see if MagicalTimeBean brings Soulcaster 2 to Newgrounds as well.

This game is amazing! HTML5 is the future, hopefully it brings more quality indie games like this to NG.

This is an awesome and original strategy game. It is like a seamless mixture of Gauntlet and fort defense. Definitely challenging too, gotta find ways to keep yourself from getting cornered through summon placement.
I also like the fact you can change up your controls for ergonomic play.
