After clearing first four floors of the King Dugan's dungeon, Beethro needs to face even greater adversaries - long, slithering serpents and the dreadful living tar.

----

Beethro Budkin, fifth-generation professional dungeon exterminator, was hired by King Dugan to clear the king's multi-level dungeon of a large monster infestation. Beethro charges by the room, and as a professional, he is contract-bound to clear all the monsters from each and every room in the dungeon to get paid. The only weapon Beethro needs to do his job is a Really Big Sword(tm), which will defeat almost any monster in a single hit.

Your objective is to clear each level of King Dugan's Dungeon of monsters. This feat can be accomplished using only your Really Big Sword(tm) and your wits. Each room is a separate area that has to be cleared in a single session. Should you leave a room without completely clearing it, it will be restored to its initial state when you return.

Those brave enough can compete for the best score (least number of moves) in each room against players from all over the world. If you create an account on our forums and provide the CaravelNet details in the options menu), your scores will be submitted to the leaderboards. These will last for two weeks, unless you purchase a CaravelNet subscription, in which case your scores will be kept forever. If you do not type in the details, you will be only notified what place your score would've attained (so called anonymous scores).

Wonderful game.
Very smart and addictive.
Takes a little time to understand. Then it's pure fun.
Don't forget to play episode 1 before this one.

I remember this series. These are some of the hardest games I've ever come aross on this website. Even on the tutorial, it doesn't give you much direction on how to aim your sword or anything. There's simply two many enemies on any stage! Anyway, I appreciated this for at least being unique. It's so hard to tell how those things are going to move next. If I didn't stop playing until I won a medal, I'd do nuts.

The sound effects seem to be in order. I like how the main character is just shown in that box during the gameplay. People who are a LOT more skilled at these kinds of games should enjoy it. I would need a walkthrough to get through anything here. The details of the background could be a bit better, though.

This game is harder than the last one, but thankfully after a bit of time you start to figure things out. Be sure to make flash versions of all the other DROD games (if you can), I love this series very much.

Nice Job, keep up the good work!

What the hell is the button for diagonally left up?

Skellus responds:

I am sure if you've just tried to play the game for a few more minutes you'd understand. Anyhow, because the game is turn and grid-based, it would be difficult to press up and left at the same time for the game to notice that you want to move diagonally - that's why a separate button was introduced. This has been a standard in Rogue-like genre for more than two decades now. I welcome you to give this game one more try!

I can't believe this is finally here!
I've been waiting for this for a long time, and you didn't disappoint.
Incredibly challenging and tons of medals.

In the first episode, a few of the medals didn't register for me until you uploaded the file again.
So far everything seems to be working properly. I'll play to the very end and PM you my findings.
