I really think the author did a good job making a very fun and addictive game!
I agree with others that this game doesn't need to be pay to play, I think it actually adds more challenge.
Oh, and here's a tip if people are confused, because I was too: Whenever you get a gem, it doesn't automatically go to your own stash; you need to go to the crystals section of the shop, and if you had earned a gem, it would say "free" under the gem you earned. Just click to get it for free!
I hoped that helped.
A good game, but if you could award tokens for progressing in the game, it would be even better. Say, 500 tokens for each area cleared, easier for those who can't afford the ads provided.
I really enjoy the game and it's very addictive. My biggest critique is that every gem I "earn" miraculously disappears before I can ever use it. I'm just stuck leveling up my cards the slow way, when it looks like I would be able to hasten the process with the many gems I've earned so far. Please fix this!
I have no idea why people think that you have to pay to win. If you have patience it is pretty easy to grind and get gold and buy decks. I have bought almost 5 15k boosters now and my deck is extremely nice. Also maxed out common and uncommon cards are just as good as some of the rare lv1 cards. I have built a very good deck and never spent a dime. The light regenerates fairly quickly. Can get all 100 back in about 2hrs. This game is very addicting and fun to play. Good Work.
I don't see why people are complaining and saying you have to pay to win/play. I've done good just by collecting gold so far, and you can even collect light crystals pretty easily too keep playing. The only things I can see why those people say that so far is because of 1 of 3 things:
1: They are impatient (especially when it comes to grinding.
2: They suck at this game and are sore losers
Other than that, the only qualms I have about this game is the recycled artwork. Seriously, you couldn't make Caterspell change into a cocoon and butterfly eventually when leveling up? Sometimes recycling is okay, like with Headless and even Coldfoot, but other times it makes little sense.
The other thing is the story line, coulda been improved with just a few more lines of dialogue; specifically the Mysterious Grotto level, which left me confused as to whether the guy talking was a good guy or bad guy.
Other than that, this is a pretty good game.
