I felt like the animation was reminescent of a handful of 90's cartoons on CN. With that said, the animation was good.
The dialogue seemed a little stiff. I couldn't really buy into it and it couldn't keep my attention for more than a few seconds. Maybe a few jokes or better jokes could help. The musical number was actually pretty good; I found that to be refreshing.
I feel like there will probably be another one since the story wasn't fully resolved, so I look forward to that.
