TOME - Episode 05 - Awaken The Beast

On the way to meet up with his friends, Alpha is halted by a couple of swordsmen trying to build up their popularity by ganging up on powerful players. After dealing with them, Alpha discovers the meaning behind their attack...the Gemini Tournament! Our heroes train in preparation for this grand competition of TOME's best players...until an unfortunate argument breaks out between the group. Suddenly, their sparring is interrupted by a strange foe with a powerful voice. The stress begins to mount, but how will this impact Alpha?

Created by Chris "Kirbopher" Niosi, with music by Weston "Kajetokun" Durant, featuring special guest voices of Bryon Beaubien (Wha-Chow!) and Juicey Flannigan (Squid Girl). Join the adventure in the Terrain of Magical Expertise!

I'm a fan of this series; every time there is a new episode, it can easily make my day. This episode is the one I watch the most, because of the "Evil Alpha" scenes. The screams were nicely done, and it reminds me of Orochi Iori from KoF. The music that plays when Alpha succumbs to the forbidden power had a sweet Metal Gear vibe. Overall, it was a good episode, but those scenes are just fantastic. Can't wait for episode 10.

Alpha and that.. thing of his, it's kinda like Naruto and Kurama (the Kyuubi), and I love me some Naruto Kurama tag team fighting!

Great episode. Only I noticed 1 thing in the battle with Zetto. There were quite a few moments were Alpha could've used the Forbidden Power at close range to engulf him. Like he did with Kirb this episode. Still Great Episode!

Was a fan of the old TOME series when it was in sprites, nice to see the animation. I enjoyed most of the episode but your fight with Zeto was killing me that you got lazy on tracking which arm was which. Example: his metal arm is his left? but switches back and forth between the fight actions and looks really sloppy and a bit confusing. I hope in future episodes you will be able to track this better. Still enjoying the story though since its been so long.
