I tried to get this out before Halloween, but the Hurricane knocked the power out for a few days, so pretend it's a few days ago and go to digital hell!

FOLLOW UP:

By reading a lot of comments a lot of you seem to bring up the same few points, so rather then respond one by one I'm just going to put this up.

"There's no story and/or it's confusing" - There's a story, though it's technically a "back story". I wrote how the characters ended up in the place they are but didn't put it any where in the short. The purpose of the film was to simulate a hellish dimension or a really intense panic attack. The main character enters this place not knowing who he is or how he got there and is acting on feelings/instincts alone. He wanders from scenario to scenario clueless and terrified which, hopefully, makes the viewer confused and scared as well. Like if I'm trying to get you to see through the eyes of the character instead just follow his story. To do that I wanted the viewer to only have as much information as the man with no memory. My point being that I wasn't telling to tell a detailed narrative story, I wanted to take the viewer on a roller coaster ride of panic and terror!

"The animation is bad and/or the hair physics suck" I know, but I animated the entire short by myself using home computers and a hacked xbox 360 kinect. I never went to animation school and I don't have a team of animators. I am in the middle of making a feature film and took a break for a month to try and make a halloween special for the internet. This short is what I can accomplish on my own without any help or money in 30-40 days time.

"the sound is really noisey and/or loud" - I wanted to use a soundtrack of only noise to heighten that sense of dread and terror. I admittedly only listened to it on my home speakers, which include a subwoofer, etc. I never tested it in headphones or regular computer speakers, so my mistake if it sounds way out of sorts on some home speakers. If i ever decide to release it on DVD I might pay to get it remastered first.

Awesome. Mad and weird, but awesome. Can you send me a download link with that?

For those who can't understand this, think it as the journey of a rapist's mind into madness.

Didn't gave you the 5th final star as the images were somewhat blurr (although I think that was the idea, LOL)

I'm pretty sure not everyone watched the whole thing... but i did and this was incredibly bad... I gave you a star for it being 3D, but thats all you deserve... It wasn't creepy at all, just... just wierd! I mean maybe if you didn't try to rush it it could've been better. it was way to predictable except for the dudes penis thing. And i don't like the design of your main character. He resembles Micheal Jackson too much and it kinda made me mad to watch this. Also your going to give someone a seizure from this. Mae sure to post in your Author comment about that. wouldn't want someones death one your hands.

reading the comments is really the most fun part of getting in this page.
Stuff like:
"(...) just doesn't shock me at all. I'm comfortable seeing this kind of stuff. (...) I have no idea what was supposed to be going on from what I watched (about 3 minutes)" (haha why only 3, tough guy?)

make me lol @ weaklings, but not without understading where they were coming from, you shoked all, even people applauding you are kind of struck, and that is something.

The hell setting and dark moral compass was a major emotion trigger in my oppinion (maybe because, I`m godly man), in some seconds here and there were (even tought not greatly made) somewhat sexual enough for a guy to be able fap, but the context and horror made some kind of moral self awareness that make you (watcher) feel down. That only gets worst by the fact that demon girls are a turn on to many guys and the Adult stamp in newgrounds make some people get their hand lotion open.

The "Eros" that command the modern way of thinking (so much that "sex sell's" even to the most suburban family) was utterly undermined by self awereness secondary to puritan disgust. something that I only experienced reading about the sex in, I have no mouth and i need to scream and watching someone play SillentHill:2 . Both in the short story and here, I believe that the autor is not making this on porpouse. But that is because I don't take amateur horror artists as deep guys.

Didn't meant to write a analytical review, it's just some things that poped to my sight. even because I'm not in place to define your horror style, as some people say for you to improve techinical stuff and make things like the hair more real and etc, but I think that you need to keep some of the tech badness in some points like the eyes and etc, because beautufull kawaii uggu or realistic design can only scare you so much, compared to spasmic and wierd stuff. But I say lose some of the flashing. That is just being annoying.
