Nov 1: fixed bug where you could "slice yourself"

Will the new experimental weapon slice through the zombie outbreak?

Stop the zombie outbreak! Madness Style!

FAQ Answers:
Yes, the game is short due to not having enough time + too many issues popping up. However, now that the engine is done, there WILL BE an expanded version for Madness Day 2013! :)

Since this is a scaled back "demo", having headshots would make the game way too easy. The full version will have headshots and MOAR weapons, MOAR upgrades, MOAR enemy types, MOAR action, MOAR MADNESS!!!

For now enjoy it as a Halloween game!
Happy Halloween!
Thank you!

Charge gun, jump, shoot, miss, charge gun, miss fire, jump, charge gun, shoot, hit pile of corpses, jump, chage gun,

Nice concept... needs more guns... the cutting was great! I liked being able to slice up a zombie into bits. But it did sem bit more hit or miss sometimes... I liked the spread shot and I see work has gone into the engine but not into level design. was just zombies falling from the celing and grouping up to be picked off.

You know, the rule to kill a zombie is by destroying the brain. This concept has been completely discarded by the maker of this game. Instead the way to kill an enemy is by shooting one of two spots (either the area from the waist down or the neck). But the flaw in that is that when you have to kill more than 5 enemies, the floor gets cluttered up with bodies and you can't hit either of the spots. Making you move to a more clean area, which is hard to do, because when a zombie hits you, you get pushed back.
Furthermore, the laser does not go through multiple targets, which seems odd to me. Since well, it's a laser.

If multiple zombies charge at me, I have no other option then to hit one and jump over them. It's even the case that the zombies actually go into one spot (while coming to you), so when you take one out, it seems like it doesn't have that much effect and you have to do it 5 or 6 times more before they all fall down (and you do this without knowing how many there are, since they are all cluttered together).

All in all, I think this is a poorly implemented game. The gameplay is downright.. annoying (and doesn't make sense). And the levels are poorly designed. Thus even for a demo, this is under average quality.

This is... uh... not good.
I don't mind the pathetic AI or game concept, no, i don't even count the level design or anything like that.
The thing that annoyed me to the edge of madness is just wrong hit detection. Its not just that shooting their head off does nothing - shooting them zombies with bodies laying around is totally pointless, as half of your shots hit the deader chunks, not the infected slightly-less-dead ones.
Oh and the shotgun laser? Total joke. The range of encounters make it useless, because the spread is too tight.

Okay... I'm totally agree with the calviny's review, and.. ok, firing all time aiming the feet you can pass some lvls, but, what happens when there are too many bodys on the floor? impossible to survive.
Bad game, too many thing to improve.

Are you serious? i can cut off his head and doesnt die... but if i hit his foot it will?

Nothing really new or interesting... really disapointing...

Have to agree with the previous reviews on this one...
