In a realm hewn from the depths of mankind's nightmares, one man will stand against the hordes of darkness.

Gameplay-wise, it's Basically Smash TV meets Borderlands. Slay demons, collect guns, sell off the crap and buy something ridiculously overpowered.

I agree a lot with Goetikmagus. I've been playing though well... about 50 levels now. I wish that there was some type leveling concept or sense of progression. or even a more sturdy concept to the advancement of the guns. the problem with the snipers is that the guns as a whole are too powerful. I'm in chamber 44 and I can easily stick to the same routine of picking small, high split/low spread shotguns that take out half the mobs in a few seconds, and decimate the rest in a few more with no issue. I also have nearly 60k saved up. if you lower the total power of the shotgun and automatic gun, then the sniper's capacity for one hit kills is more desirable(even if you just raise the bigger baddies health by quadruple this would help). otherwise it would be nice for a little customization, whether it be that you can level or upgrade your guns, or give yourself special traits for other guns or even armor would be nice. another bonus would be the introduction of a bazooka XD,

I'm going to assume that you're releasing this as a basic test of your skills with mechanics. That having been said:

Pros:
Smooth movement and action. Even though the music loops, it doesn't really get stale. A little T&A in the store, which some may see as merely a cheap thrill, but I think of as "eye-catching decoration".

Cons:
No storyline to speak of - not that there needs to be one, but it would add something. Weapons are the only thing to upgrade... I think armor should be in there somewhere at least as a cursory nod to taking a bullet or two and being able to shrug it off. Perhaps there should be an experience system, instead - offering blanketing boosts to the character, no matter what weapon he's wielding (advances in speed, additional damage, specialization in one of the weapon classes, et cetera...). I also think that there should be a few more enemy sprites, rather than have them simply differ in color, as it would allow players to more quickly identify bigger threats and deal with them.

I have more to say, if you like - but I'll save it, unless you're sincerely interested... in which case, write me a PM, and I'll put all my effort into constructive criticism.

Overall, this game was amusing for a few minutes, with better-than-average replay value. With just a few more player hooks, it could be amusing for hours. With a budget and team like Borderlands, it could even be amusing for days or months.

Considering everything, I give you "Better than average" ((of which I consider "average" to be 2-stars)). I look forward to more from you in the future.

Fun, but little challenge.

enemies just stop where they are when they die and just stand there in a blood stain rather than falling (I hate it when game developers do things like that). The guns are confusing, shot guns all shoot different amounts of pellets, and sniper rifles have the same range as all the other guns. Enemies all look the same except for their color. over all this game is just another second rate top down shooter, despite the promising starting screen. 2 stars for effort (and the promise of updates).

Good game play.

Needs sounds, different enemies, different guns, power ups. The map area could be a bit bigger and maybe have some walls?
