It's not the pay to play model that offends, it's the way it's implemented. What you're doing is halting the progress of the gamer. This serves not only to frustrate them, but to force them to stop playing for a fixed period of time. This isn't going to portray your game in any sort of good light. What you want is for gamers to flock back to your game because they WANT to. Not because you stopped their progress with an arbitrary timer. Even if this was a facebook game, your method of delivery is flawed from the get-go. If you, for example, halved the amount of gold we could earn during the period you stopped us. That would have kept the flow of the game constant and thus given us incentive to pay your token amount of money. Which by the way is RIDICULOUS for a newgrounds game. That said, the game itself is quite good, addicting to be sure, and plays really well. If only it was delivered properly.

I love this game even if it's pay to play.
This is one of those progressive games that you need to play a long time in order to explore its full potential.
And I love that.
But there are some bugs that need to be fixed. (for instance I got a guy who wanted to buy me something for 0 gold and I had 2% chance of haggling. He refused yeling "RAH, YOU'RE STILL MAKING A PROFIT". Lol.)
