You must be joking. You must be truly and utterly joking! I was playing this game in the best of moods, despite what most reviews said; I truly enjoyed the game, knowing that it was limiting my fun in order to make me pay like many other games I've seen here and on facebook, But I didn't let that get me down! I continued to play, despite the limitations, having the fullest amount of fun that I could...until THAT happened. Really? Really? Did you Really have to go as far as stopping us from playing the game COMPLETELY (until X time passes) to make us give you some more money? How utterly pathetic can you be? The LEAST you could have done was warn us that that was going to happen eventually! *sigh* and I was actually having fun too...so for that I'll still give it a decent rating.

This is cute, well made and fun, but as others have stated, it is exactly why people are abandoning the facebook games left and right. this is a time waster, not something I would want to sink money into

This is the exact reason that I quit playing Facebook games. I don't want to spend money on this, and I sure as hell don't want to depend on other people to progress. Obvious money ploy for not that great a game.

I had trouble with this game at first, due to the obvious prevalence of Pay2Play content, but something kept drawing me back in. I decided before I reviewed the game I'd allow myself time to adjust to how this game is meant to be played, as it is different from the styles of games commonly on Newgrounds.
I have just reached level 20, and I have to say that this game is not only addicting, but the P2P content is not quite as overbearing as everyone acts. There are plenty of quick offers you can do for tokens that get you premium content without having pay for it. Also, the game is an MMO, so having to wait between days seems plenty fair. Many other games that use time as a resource force players to wait WAY too long (three minutes per action in the Sims Online, for example) while this game saves up one day per 15 minutes or so.
People don't need to sit and play a game nonstop for hours on end, not on Newgrounds. If people want to play games that are that engaging, they should expect to pay for a game of that quality. Occasionally one like that will come across Newgrounds, but it should not be expected. Games don't make themselves, and people often don't appreciate the hard work and sacrifice that go into letting you screw around when you're bored.
Also, the Guild system is flawed, but it works. There are bonuses that guilds can get to encourage the use of it and the improvements in your shop really aren't all that useful or necessary. You don't HAVE to use it. You don't HAVE to pay for tokens. you don't HAVE to even use tokens!
Everyone just likes to complain without giving the game a chance. I saw one review that complained because the guild system was useless and they thought that if the guild could give bonuses to members then it would be better. All this is posted without the poster even looking at the system. The bonuses have their own tab, it's not like they're hiding. They just weren't thrust into his face, and so they didn't think they were there.
Overall, this is a fun game. It's worth some time if you feel like playing a casual game while taking breaks while doing REAL TASKS. Do an hour of homework, and you've got four days saved up for you. While you play those four days, you'll accumulate two more days easily. By the time you're done with that, you've played for at least half an hour, which is a reasonable break.
Jesus, go outside, people.
