Take Flight is a distance based flying game where you control an airplane that's running low on gas! Use your mouse to guide the craft across the terrain picking up fuel as you go. If you get enough coins, you may even be able to recover from a crash!

a hit or miss kind of game fun but unless you can level up it will stop being fun after a few games

Challenging in its simplicity, the game almost feels more like a puzzle as you restart...and restart...and restart...
I really like the predictive shadow that aims the plane, but I honestly didn't get the game and wasn't terribly impressed after playing it. I also really like the rain effects, and the shapes of the clouds. I was expecting something like Sky Odyssey for PS2, but while this reminds me of some levels from that game, this one proved to be too dang tough for me.

gfx - 7.5 (decent, workable graphics)
sfx - N/A (I have no soundcard)
design - 6 (solid interfaces, but lacks a "fuel" display)
gameplay - 4.5 (fun at first, but too frustrating)
overall, I think that this is a game that will not only frustrate the hell out of people but also confuse them greatly. I like certain aspects, like the aforementioned "shadow line" that shows the path the plane will take, but due to the difficulty curve and lack of essential info provided to player this game ultimately fails to live up to its potential.

Fun, but can u remove the backround objects that you can fly by? it makes the objects that you can hit very... whats the word im looking for... un avoidable.
