Great concept, if not original. I like the idea of gaining power based on lvl completion, but I don't understand what it's used for. Cool graphics, I like that there is a storyline and cinematic. I like that you can jump in addition to a more passive form of control.
out of 10....
gfx - 7.5 (solid, convincing character)
sfx -7 (nothing too special, but still decent)
design - 8 (straightforward instructions)
gameplay - 7.5 (solid and engaging, but perhaps a little slow)
overall, this is a good game that could inspire a great sequel. Seems a little clunky as is.

Very nice setting for a sadly overused genre. I really liked the intro and the concept of a fire seeking revenge by burning down everything it touches; it adds an original dimension to the game. However, the "remove x blocks to attain the goal" type of game is not original :( You've seen one you've seen a thousand you know...
You do have great artistic and programming skills though; keep up the good work. Overall it was a very well made game :)
