In every Final Fantasy cinematic, I've always wondered why they don't really emphasize the spells that much since the name of the spells sort of what makes Final Fantasy its franchise. So I tried it myself and see how it would look like.

A wonderful and cleverly thought out animation. All scenes and spells were wonderfully drawn and the use of camera angles dramatically improved the quality of this flash. Everything was left in the true Final Fantasy style including the credits which is comparable in length to the boss fight.

There's only a few critiques I'd like to add. While some people would have liked the characters to be proper drawings rather than stickmen, I was very happy with the level of detail put into the movements of the stickmen. I know how difficult it can be to animate this let alone getting perspectives and shading right on a detailed character so well done.

Two minor details were the speed of the ground and the dark stickman's feet did not match so it looked like he was floating in a bizarre way. The 2nd was a scene where the buildings were visible and it was zooming, the ground appeared to moving underneath the buildings rather than zoom at the appropriate rate. Other than that, fantastic job 10/10

Everything from the animation to the music was very well done, i enjoyed every second of it.

I'm astonished o.o Not only for the animation (very high quality), but what I really loved was the design of the place (extremely simple but catching), the skills themselves (of course inspired by classic rpgs and FF, however they are impressive) and their timing, I loved the crescendo (typical? well, be true with yourself: you cant say no to any crescendo) and the great choice of the skill "Doom/Death Sentence" as end.

Being a fan of the FF series, I really enjoyed this FFVIII intro reworked or whatever you wanted to be :)
