In every Final Fantasy cinematic, I've always wondered why they don't really emphasize the spells that much since the name of the spells sort of what makes Final Fantasy its franchise. So I tried it myself and see how it would look like.

Woah. I'm not a fan of stick-men fighting videos at all, but I think I now have an exception to that!
First off I was quite disappointed to see the two mages as the stick-men and was tempted to close the tab, but I love Noboe Uematsu's music and I wanted to continue listening in, and I'm glad I did as you really reignited my love for the magic side of things from FF.The use of Doom, Haste and Barrier lead to me wanting more of those unique visual spells for example Demi, although that doesn't discredit it at all. Can't say I was expecting the summon though, nice way to end it I guess.
What really got me over the line to liking it, was the way you did the ending accompanied by 'To Zanarkand'. It was beautiful, and very reminiscent of a FF ending itself.
I've taken off 1 star because I wouldn't be happy with myself if I gave more because of the stick-men animation.
Kudos to you for this, and I wish you well on your further animation endeavors! :)

I just love "Musics by Nobou Uematsu"
I wish the white mage would be unable to dodge the last attack, instead of deciding to defend with his nose.
