Spike your football as deep as you can on each attempt. Buy upgrades to reach greater speeds and depths. Use methane deposits to boost and refuel by hitting buried nuclear waste. Avoid hitting boulders and iron deposits that slow you down.

I will have to agree with the gentleman "bdun" below me. It really does seem like what matters the most are the boosts and the fuel, which are not showing on the radar. An upgrade to the radar would be a good idea. Besides that though, it's a good and addictive time waster :).

It's fun, but how far you go seems to be based less on what upgrades you buy and more on how many power-ups the game puts in front of you. Perhaps an upgrade to the radar that lets you know about fuel and boosts?
