Good game with great potential! I like that it's still just beta and you are working on the game. I wanted to mention a minor problem. Sometimes when people rage quit or whatever, if they know they are about to lose. It seems you don't get your reward, I think this happens when you have less HP than the other guy, and he leaves the session.
I'm not sure about this, but I think you should get your reward if the other guy leaves because he knows he is about to lose, even if he has more HP. It might just be a coincidence though. Now I'm gonna play some more, love the strategic aspect of this game ^^

Its fun and addictive but my only complaint at this moment is that somehow people are managing to release their drone and get two attacks off, all in one turn. It seems to be a timed-trick.

Great game, have already spent quite a few hours before work playing. So thank you for that. My only complaint- aside from the obvious bugs that have been touched on already- is that the money system is a bit weak, it takes way too long to save, the majority of my income comes from leveling up in which case the item I was saving for is now obsolete. More money per kill please!!!

Are you still getting those bugs?
We have uploaded a new patch about an hour ago.
And we are about to tweak the money system, probably in the next update.

Let me start with the downside: Yes, the bugs are bad. A lot of my opponents skip turns at one point or another, my current sixth place overall is for a good part thanks to all those people with crappier connections than me. But I get my own share of weird broken off matches too.

The money system is not bad. People in the comments complain they don't get enough of it, I never had those troubles. I don't have any extra money, just what I get from fights. The trick is to invest it in the right things. Torsos are very important, you can skip one generation sometimes, but if you still have a level 9 samurai body when you're level 25 you're clearly doing something wrong. Yes, people are doing this, and they don't stand a chance. Weapons on the other hand can sometimes last quite long, as long as they fit with the rest of your gear and your tactic. You don't need every single available gun. Also watch out when using kits. A good heat kit can eat almost half the money you make from a match. I myself am using way too much of those at the moment, and it eats into the available budget. In fact, i wouldn't mind if kit prices went down a bit in the next version. I do really like that the amount of money you get for winning and losing is in the end the same. Whether you win or lose a lot, ones you have gathered the same amount of experience, and thus gain a level, you also got pretty much the same amount of money. This helps keep the game fair. You can turn your luck around at any time by losing your way into saving up a decent amount of cash and then buying a better set of stuff.

On first view it looks like the heat and energy system is unbalanced in the favor of heat. You can shut a person down by overheating them, so a lot of people use this tactic. However, don't underestimate energy sucking weapons. I've been up against people with a good set of those, and without shield, grappling hook or teleporter I was suspiciously vulnerable, they get to determine the range at which you fight, and you get full damage. So for specialized users both systems are eligible ways of getting the upper hand. Still, it's much easier to be a "heat warrior" than an energy sucker. Perhaps there could be some more energy based weapons?

Overall the game is really addicting, and surprisingly fun for a program of this type. The weapons are varied enough, and while there is uncertainty about their damage they're predictable enough to base tactical decisions on. So while buggy, it's a good game.
