This is my entry for 1st round of the NMAE tournament (made in 21 days). The theme was "sweet and sour". I wanted to challenge myself a bit, so I decided to go with something film noir-inspired.
To be honest I ended up getting a bit bored with this animation, and no matter how much I stared at it it didn't seem to help. Buuut at least I've got a list of things that worked as well as things that didn't now.

I can recommend watching this in higher quality on my youtube channel: www.youtube.com/Hikarian0 02

Feels like some respective reactions were off by a bit (unless it was done that way on purpose), but okay. Wonder what conversation lead to Jack claiming he could tame a walrus...
That is, if that's where that last word was going.

I have to say, there's a surprising amount of quality animation and acting in this. In that regard, it hit the "sweet and sour" thing right on the dot.

However, I feel like the writing is where it falls short. It's a good concept, but it felt really mediocre. Perhaps this was because it was made in 21 days. Perhaps not. Everything else is suburb.
