This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

Is this the Among Us movie i was told about?

JK man newgrounds recommendation was on point this is really cool
i can't say what has already been said before considering this is 9 years old

That was... oh my god. I have to see all of it as soon as possible, you don't even know man.
One thing, though. I can't get over the fact that his legs aren't hinged at his hips. legs swivel around two points positioned in the pelvic region, yet this guy's hip joints seem to be extended about 9 inches below that point. there is much room for improvement-- use it well, o powerful story teller.

3 minutes and 23 seconds well spent! You've kept me intrigued to the very end and I love the graphics. Awesome job.

9 months for greyish backdrops (beautifully done by the way) awesome lighting effects but I can't get over how the character moved... looked like he had a stick shoved up someplace, and his torso up hardly had any movement just a small bobbing side to side. I love scenery and the lights feels Dead Spacey to me keep up the work and hope to see something with a little more story and a little more flare to show off.

Of this took 9 months then we are in for a bit of a wait.
