This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

I liked the atmosphere and you did a good job at making it seem like he wasnt the only one there. Other than the general movement of the character I liked it. I don't think poeple hold guns that awkwardly. Also if I heard someone behind me I wouldn't slowly turn around. It's what bugs me about some 3-d anims, slow/steady character movement.

beautiful scenery and filming, the only thing i would recommend would be to work on how the movement of the protagonist looks. little awk. but other that that it was great!

Excellent, I love animations with parts, were the first part (phase) starts as a big mystery and then later on the other phases explain all about it. I just hope, it will go that way so I'm looking forward to next phase.
