This is a 3D animated short film prologue I spent 9 months working on, it was made in Autodesk Maya and rendered using Pixar's Renderman. The film is about a mysterious character who explores the dark depths of a giant abandoned facility. The purpose of this instalment is to create an atmosphere and establish the environment. It acts as a prologue to a whole series of upcoming shorts films about the character's journey through the facility; this is just the first phase of the story.

No affence but the story line sucks. But the graphics are awsome but why is he/she there? and whos the other guy?

I liked it. You're pretty good at making it look 3D but really be flat. Though, the shape of the character's body seemed a little weird, and the way he/she held the gun was somewhat strange. The running animations need a little work around the legs, and just watching the constant, exactly the same pattern made the character look more like a robot than a living thing. It was still one of the best 3D animation I've ever seen on Newgrounds.

Nice animation overall, but there are some things that bothered me and some that I liked, im going to try to list them:
1. Loved the camera work, nice transitions, and it gave good storytelling with it.
2. the animation bothered me in some details, like the hips, they never move with the running or walk, and the upper body is almost static in the running transition, there should be more movement there.
3. the lighting, GOD it was GOOD!, it helped with the mood, same as the cameras, nice job.
and finally 4. dunno if you modeled all of it (I suppose you did) but that is really good modeling, liked the colors too, really thrilling and gloom like.
Welp that is all of it, a little tip would be to make the animation more lively, don't be afraid to exaggerate the movements and to make more parts in the body move. Can't wait to see more :)

Nice Job only thing i didn't like was the way the gun was held.
Really spoiled the illusion
But don't let that get you down.
It really show the nine mouths of hard work put into it
